Black and Gold Smokey Eye/ Selena Gomez 'Come and Get It' look...

Hi all,

So yesterday I was pretty ill and I decided to try out this look with some of my Maybelline eye products and here is the finished look. To do this I only used three products, all were drugstore and i was pretty happy with the outcome and it was so simple to recreate.

Review: Healthy Sexy Hair Leave in Conditioner...

So a while ago I picked up this leave in conditioner and I thought it was about time I did a little review on it. Before I start I would like to say that I have naturally fairly 'normal' hair however from time to time it can be fairly oily. But anyway onto the review, so before picking this little beauty up I had done a fair bit of research as I tend to do into how good this product actually was and the online reviews were all pretty good so I thought I might as well give it a try.

Polish: Nails inc. Lowndes Square
Topcoat: Ciate Angel
Ring: Brandy Melville

So For the past week I've been wearing this look on my nails and I really love it, it really reminds me of Cinderella for some reason, which makes me happy (can you tell I loved Disney as a kid?!). So as my base colour I used the Nails.inc polish and did two coats. Then created the sparkle by adding a coat of Ciate Angel on the top. I just think this looks really cute for the summer time and mixes up pastels a little bit.

Healthy Habits: Current Food Favourites...

Hi all,
so today I thought I'd share a few of my current food favourites that are a little more on the healthy side and although I know these aren't as good for you to eat in excess, they make a nice change to just living of raw produce ..

1. Vita Coco coconut water in natural:
I dont really know why I have become so addicted to my coconut water again recently but I just find it the most thirst quenching refreshing drink ot have in the warmer months. I tend to drink this every morning after my run to restore my electrolytes but I also use it as a healthier alternative to juice if I want something other than water during the day.

2. Quaker oats 'Oat so simple':
So as i've been doing so many exams lately I've been making sure to get a proper breakfast in me before I start my day. So I found these at the supermarket and I have fallen in love.  they are a great way to get a healthy, filling and tasty breakfast all in one whilst being really quick and easy to microwave.

3. Trek Protein Flapjack:
Now as some of you may know I am a celiac which means I can't eat gluten products which males it pretty hard for me to find good tasting snack products with a good amount of protein in them to keep in my bag as a fill me up when I'm on the go, or as part of my weekend pre or post workout meals/ snacks. BUT, these are just amazing...okay I may be having to control myself a little but they are seriously so tasty, you can't tell there is gluten missing at all. They are completely vegan as well which is a huge plus and are also a nice good size that properly fills you up between meals..in conclusion i approve!

Review: Real Techniques Expert face brush...

Hi all,
So first off lets start with an apology, I was spending my day yesterday cramming for my exam and being extremely unwell hence no post going up but I've decided if I can sit an exam I can get myself to my laptop to do a post for you all. And today I decided I'd do a review of one of my favourite brushes for applying foundation..the real techniques expert face brush. Now I've been a fan of the pixiwoo sisters on youtube for years and they really kickstarted my rather expensive makeup addiction...so when I finally saw their brushes in Boots obviously I had to buy them. Now I've had a few of their brushes for quite a few moths now (over 7 months) after saving up to buy a little set however this is the brush I go to on a daily basis.

The synthetic bristles in this brush are so soft and feel lovely on the skin, but also blend in foundation or tinted moisturiser into the skin flawlessly, with no streaks or lines to give a real airbrushed finish to the skin. Another great thing about the bristles in this brush is the fact that they are nice and dense, which for some reason makes me feel like the application of my foundation is more natural onto the skin (this may be in my head though!).
I also find myself using a lot less product when I use this brush, I think mainly because it seems to make a little bit of product go a lot further on the skin and still make it look really flawless compared to a lot of other brushes out there.

To be honest I also think the price of these brushes is amazing. For a range of very high quality brushes it is rare to see any of the brushes under the £10 mark but if I'm not mistaken the majority of the brushes in this line are under or around the £10 when bought separately, which I think is great value considering how well they wear and how high quality the manufacture of the brushes has been.
Honestly these are some of the nicest brushes in my collection and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to any of you as great brushes however this brush has really won me over so if you are in the market for a new face brush and you are able to access real techniques brushes then please get your hands on this bad boy!!
